World Sparrow Day Celebration 2025

On March 20, Chaitanya Science and Arts College, Pamgarh, in collaboration with the Zoological Society and the Department of Zoology, organized an event to celebrate World Sparrow Day. The event highlighted the importance of sparrow conservation and biodiversity protection.  

Principal Dr. V.K. Gupta emphasized the urgent need to protect sparrows from habitat loss. Dr. Veena Pani Dubey, Head of the Science Department, discussed the ecological role of sparrows. Ms. Bhagwati Sahu, Assistant Professor of Zoology, stressed awareness and conservation efforts. Mr. Akash Kashyap, Assistant Professor of Forestry, explained the impact of deforestation on sparrow populations.
