On the occasion of International Day of Forests 2025, the Forestry Department of the college organized a discussion on the theme "Forests and Innovation: Solutions and Transformations."
The event featured esteemed speakers, including Dr. Garima Tiwari, Assistant Professor from the Forestry Department of Guru Ghasidas Central University, Bilaspur, Dr. Veena Pani Dubey, Head of the Botany Department, Dr. Narendranath Guriya, Head of the Geography Department, and Rishabh Dev Pandey, Assistant Professor of the Chemistry Department.
To engage students, various competitions such as slogan writing, poster making, and a quiz contest were also organized.
The event was coordinated and hosted by Aakash Kashyap, Assistant Professor of the Forestry Department.
