Pamgarh : On the occasion of Republic Day and Saraswati Puja on dated 26/01/2023, a one-day Sangeet Yamini was organized in Chaitanya Science and Arts College, Pamgarh. Internationally renowned Vasanti Vaishnav Sunil Vaishnav of Raigarh Gharana and his team performed their art. Internationally renowned Tabla player Mordhwaj Vaishnav mesmerized with his Tabla playing as well as college and school students and regional artists gave their presentation. In the morning of the first session, the Republic Day was celebrated with great fanfare, the flag was hoisted after performing Maha Aarti of Mother India. A cultural event based on patriotism was also organized by the students, and in the evening of the second semester, on the auspicious occasion of Vasant Panchami, the Sangeet Yamini program organized under the joint auspices of Chaitanya Science and Arts College, Pamgarh and Shri Gyan Kala Seva Samiti, Bhaiso, started Veena. Special prayers were offered to the grand Chaitanya idol of Vadini Mata Saraswati. Director of the college, Virendra Tiwari and Dr. Garima Tiwari, Assistant Professor, Forestry Department, Guru Ghasidas University, Bilaspur, presented mementos and yellow colored organ cloth to welcome guests and visiting artists. Dr. Garima Tiwari, while giving the welcome speech, said that the college has been continuously committed to every work done for the development of knowledge, literature and culture. Mr.Virendra Tiwari, Chairmen Chaitanya Science and Arts College, Pamgarh he said that stressed the importance of cultural prosperity of the region along with development in the region.  May this auspicious festival spread new energy and new enthusiasm in everyone's life. Appreciating the efforts of the college, Chief Guest Mrs. Indu Banjare MLA Pamgarh said that the qualities of a positive human being and a disciplined citizen are visible in the students educated in Chaitanya College. He congratulated the organizers and artists. Raghavendra Pratap Singh, Vice President, District Panchayat, Janjgir Champa while appreciating the event said that, the grace of Maa Saraswati is associated with Chaitanya Science and Ats College Pamgarh, today a gathering of talents has taken place in this premises. He said that do such things in life that you are recognized by your behavior. Dinesh Sharma State Coordinator, Rajiv Gandhi, Panchayati Raj Organization Chhattisgarh, while saluting Mata Saraswati, said that I have had a relationship with this college since the beginning, on this occasion he said that Basant Panchami is commonly known as 'Saraswati Puja'. Goddess Saraswati, the embodiment of the vast storehouse of knowledge, language, music and art, is worshiped on this day. Since Goddess Saraswati is associated with music, arts and knowledge, the day is also marked by the important ritual of Vidya Aarambh. Former MLA Pamgarh Ambesh Jangde while appreciating the event said that the culture in which women are respected, the same culture is uplifted. The festival of spring, Basanti color has remained a symbol of wisdom and sacrifice since ages. Principal of the college, Dr. V.K Gupta, wishing Republic Day and Basant Panchami, said that the word Basanti contains the chirping of gaiety and the fragrance of knowledge. President of Shree Gyan Kala Seva Samiti Bhaiso, Sonaram Sahu, terming the organization of Chaitanya Mahavidyalaya as commendable, described it as a milestone in the cultural development of the region. Harprasad Sahu Member Labor Welfare Board Chhattisgarh, social worker Raju Gandhi and other guests also addressed the program. This program it was equipped with hi-tech digital sound and was broadcast live on YouTube. A large number of connoisseurs of music gathered to listen to literature and art penetrating enjoyed the program till late night.
