A special career counseling lecture on Unlocking Success, Rewire Your Mind was organized at Chaitanya Science and Arts College under the auspices of the Institutional Innovation Cell of the institution. Captain Y Srinivas, Regional Mentor of Change Group of Chhattisgarh state of Atal Innovation Mission run by NITI Aayog was present as the keynote speaker of the program. The program was presided over by the director of the organization, Virendra Tiwari. The program was inaugurated by the chief speaker lighting a lamp in front of the statue of Goddess Saraswati. At the beginning of the program, senior professor of the institution, Vivek Joglekar gave welcome address and introduced the main speaker. Addressing the program, keynote speaker Group Captain Srinivas said that a person's future is decided by his present thinking. He said that whatever a person thinks, nature creates a future for him according to his thoughts. Therefore, we should keep our thinking big. If a person is mentally weak then it affects his entire life. He discussed about various aspects of human mind and explained in detail about human personality and belief system. While giving information about the Neuro Linguistic Program run by him to protect from stress, depression and uncertainty, he told about two very simple exercises. With its continuous practice, a person can achieve his set goal while keeping himself free from diseases and staying away from negative thoughts. He said that 90 percent of diseases are caused by mental disorders. After the chief guest's address, an interactive session was held where students got an opportunity to ask questions and seek guidance. Students actively participated in it and expressed their career concerns and aspirations. Group Captain Srinivas provided guidance to the students by answering their curious questions. The director of the organization, Mr. Tiwari, who was presiding over the program, in his address stressed the importance of career counseling in today's competitive world. He said that the college has a commitment to provide holistic support to its students. The vote of thanks for the program was given by Principal, Dr. VK Gupta. In his address, Dr. Gupta inspired the students to read the book Tejaswiman Agni Ki Udaan written by former President Late APJ Abdul Kalam. He expressed his gratitude to Group Captain Srinivas for taking out time to share his expertise with the students. He also thanked the director of the organization for his support and inspiration for organizing the program. Additionally, Dr. Gupta appreciated the efforts of the organizing committee and the active participation of the students, which contributed to the success of the event. The program was conducted by Rishabh Dev Pandey, Assistant Professor of Chemistry. Convenor of Institutional Innovation Cell of the institution and head of the Faculty of Arts, Dr. Narendranath Guria, convenor of the program and head of the Faculty of Science, Mrs. Shubhada Joglekar, members of the Institutional Innovation Cell, Dr. Shaily Ojha, Dhaneshwar Suryavanshi Bhagwati Sahu and a large number of college students were present in the program.
