A Parents Meet was organized on 14th February 2019 by the Department of Social Work in Chaitanya Science & Arts College Pamgarh. The students welcomed the parents by applying tilak and offering flowers. The meet was inaugurated by lighting the lamp and offering flowers on the statue of Goddess Saraswati. Mr. Veerendra Tiwari, Director of the College said that children are the future of  India. Therefore, the role of parents along with the college is important for their all round development. Such an event will definitely create a positive environment, which will give a new direction to the society. Outlining the relationship between parents and teachers, Principal Dr. Sharad K Bajpayee said that it is necessary for every parent to be aware of the information about the educational activities of the children, for these parents should keep in touch with the teachers and the college from time to time. It is important that the college, teachers and parents play an important role in the mentoring of the student to help them to achieve their goals. While addressing the parents, Dr. Narendranath Guria said that the students of social work are in the university. Students, teachers and parents are the three main dimensions for the all-round development of the student. In the present time, there is a rapid disorientation in the youth category. There are circumstances responsible for this. Parents should be aware and give good education and values to the children. With this, they serve the country and society by becoming successful. NSS Program Officer Sanjay Baghel said that quality is important in education and until the situation of communication between teachers, parents and students is not created for quality, satisfactory results cannot come, so it is necessary to discuss with parents, teachers and students. So that the environment of education can become conducive, by creating an environment of education in the family, get good newspapers and magazines read, as much as the role of teachers is in making them cultured with education. Meanwhile, the parents also expressed their views and appreciated the event. Meanwhile, 2 minutes silence was paid to the forty brave soldiers martyred in Pulwama. The program was conducted by Mr.Abhishek Pandey and with 56 parents was present on this programme of Social Work Department. Parents along with the students were present in the program. An interactive discussion was held for the precise mentoring of stakeholders by the parents and faculty members. More than 34 students and their parents were present in the program.
