About The Event

The students of Social work department of Chaitanya Science & Arts College Pamgarh, took an educational observation tour at Dev Seva Samiti old age home and retarded children's home located in Khokhra village. Under the guidance of Mr. Veerendra Tiwari, Director of the college and Abhishek Pandey, Assistant Professor Social Work Department, the students cooked food and served that to the elderly and retarded boys and girls on dated 24.09.2019. During this, the students got to know about their well-being by having discussions with the old age people and children living in Janjgir Champa and other areas. The students also learned how the elders of the family are being served and how they are suffering today. These people who have been separated from the family are being given shelter by the Sahara Samaj Sangathan. The need of the hour is that we should take good care of the elders of the family. Students of Chaitanya Science & Arts College Pamgarh have also appealed to everyone to be aware and follow their moral duties. Dev Seva Committee has agreed to spread the awareness regarding this sacred work. During this, a memento was presented to Mr. Burman, the Director of Dev Seva Samiti, and Mr. Srivas, the old man from Champa. More than 50 Students of social work were present in the educational tour observation program.
