The foundation day on date 24 sep 2019 of the National Service Scheme was celebrated in Chaitanya Science & Arts College Pamgarh. Prof. G.D. Sharma, the Vice Chancellor of Bilaspur University was     present as the Chief Guest. The guests were welcomed with a bouquet and NSS batches. The program was lead by garlanding and worshiping the oil painting of Swami Vivekananda, the source of inspiration for the youth. Dr. Garima Tiwari Asst. Prof. of Forestry Guru Ghasidas University, Bilaspur said that the main responsibility of this college is to provide moral, cultural and physical education to the students to bring progress in the developmental journey of the college and the level of education in the region. Dr. S. K. Bajpai sir told the volunteers to be constant on keeping moral duties, along with education, discipline and protecting the interests of the society. Mr. Veerendra Tiwari, the Director of the College said that the volunteers should focus on the goal with integrity, the education of labor welfare, and social consciousness. Prof. G.D. Sharma Vice Chancellor Bilaspur university, Bilaspur, taught the volunteers the lessons of social service and said that India resides in the villages, so volunteers will have to serve the village to make it clean and healthy. Praising the works of NSS volunteers of Chaitanya Science and Arts College, Mr. Sharma said that the cultural activities of this college are appreciable in the entire Bilaspur University. Nukkad Natak and NSS song were presented on voter awareness directed by NSS Program Officer Sanjay Baghel. Prof. G.D. Sharma praised the NSS unit and Malkhamb players. He honored the volunteers with certificates. An eminent speaker Vivek Joglekar inspired the students to develop their ethics and knowledge along with the art of living life. Mr. Veerendra Tiwari The director of the college, Dr. Sharad K Bajpai, principal thanked the Vice-Chancellor Dr. Sharma. Mr.Veerendra Tiwari and Dr. Smt. Garima Tiwari received the blessings of Vice Chancellor Dr. Sharma by presenting sandalwood saplings, shawl and shriphal. The program was attended by the dignitaries as well as the students and staff of the college.
