About The Event

Under the joint collaboration of National Service Scheme and Vegan Outreach a Webinar on Food Planet Health was organized on 17th July 2021 by IQAC Chaitanya Science & Arts College to promote vegetarianism. Ms Aastha Gupta, coordinator of Vegan Outreach India was invited as the keynote speaker. Mr. Sanjay Baghel, in-charge of National Service Scheme presented the outline of the program. Ms. Gupta, the keynote speaker underlining the importance and relevance of vegetarianism, said that it is imperative to promote vegetarianism to maintain environmental balance. He provided detailed information about the foods that fall under the category of vegetarianism. Dr. Sharad K. Vajpayee Principal of the institution and Mr. Veerendra Tiwari the Director of the College also addressed the program. The program was conducted by Mr. Rishabh Deo Pandey. Technical assistance in the program was provided by Mr. Dhaneshwar Surya.  Dr. N. Guria, IQAC Coordinator gave the vote of thanks to all the distinguished speaker and participants. All the College staffs and more than 170 students were involved.
