A five-day workshop on Professional Web Development was organized by the Department of Computer Science at Chaitanya Science and Arts College, Pamgarh. Naveen Vaishnav, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science, ICFAI University, Raipur participated as the keynote speaker in the workshop.
The program was inaugurated by the chief guest Shri Vaishnav by lighting the lamp on the statue of Maa Saraswati. In the workshop, introducing all the techniques of web development to all the trainees, lectures were given on various topics through practical approach. On the first, second and third day of the workshop, Mr. Vaishnav explained various techniques of web development such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and made the students aware of their usefulness. Trainees learned a variety of skills by doing all those practicals themselves in the laptop computer. On the fourth day of the program, Vijay Tiwari, assistant professor of the department, presented a lecture on the topic of PHP and database useful for the website. On the fifth day of the workshop, assistant professor Dhaneshwar Suryavanshi explained in detail about Bootstrap technology, a tool useful in preparing advanced websites. He said that with the help of Bootstrap, we can create a state-of-the-art website in less time. Various information related to career in computer field was shared by Bhushan Kashyap, Assistant Professor of the Department. Assistant professors of the department Somen Rai and Sarojmani Banjare provided technical assistance in the workshop. In this workshop, 119 students took benefit of the program by registering themselves. Director of the college Virendra Tiwari congratulated all the students and encouraged them to perform better in the field of technology. Principal of the college Dr. V.K. Gupta while addressing the trainees through virtual mode appreciated the workshop.
