National Science Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Chaitanya Science and Arts College, Pamgarh on dated 28 feb 2022. On this occasion a one day International Seminar on Integrated Approach in Science and Technology for a sustainable Future was organized in the college on the theme of this year's National Science Day. The seminar was organized in Hybrid Mode. Professor P. K. Vajpayee, Dean, School of Physical Sciences, Guru Ghasidas Central University, Bilaspur was present as the chief guest in the seminar. Dr. Smt. Garima Tiwari, Assistant Professor, Department of Forestry, Guru Ghasidas Central University and Technology Manager, Infosys Ltd. Cloud Dr. Manish Dubey from Amsterdam, Netherlands were associated with the program as Special Guest. Dr Gopal Pramanik, a neuroscientist and electro physiologist from Ottovon Guericke University, Germany, was present as the keynote speaker in the seminar. The seminar was started by lighting the lamp in front of the statue of Mother Saraswati by the director of the institution, Mr.Virendra Tiwari and Dr. VK Gupta Principal At the beginning of the program, Dr. Narendranath Guria, Head of the Department of Geography introduced the guests while giving a welcome address. Dr. Harishankar Prasad Rajak, the convener, informed the gathering about the purpose of the seminar. Mr. Rohit Sahu, Head of the Department of Physics, made a power point presentation about the historical background of National Science Day and the personality and work of Dr. CV Raman. Dr. Gopal Pramanik, delivered his keynote address and discussed the recent findings related to study of human brain. Explaining the reasons responsible for depression and the chemicals needed to diagnose it, he said that the human brain is full of quirks. Chief guest Dr. Garima Tiwari said that the role of all branches of science is important in its development. She appealed to all the students to take special interest in research work. Dr. Manish Dubey, Special Guest discussed about the nuances of artificial intelligence, cloud computing and deep learning. In response to the questions asked by the students, he gave information about data business data security problems and their solutions.
