About The Event

The Department of Commerce and Management at Chaitanya Science and Arts College organized a comprehensive field visit on November 21, targeting the practical application of contract cost accounting for its students. Guided by department head Ashok Singh Yadav and assistant professors Neha Sahu, Yamini Lahre, and Rajendra Yadav, the students visited construction sites in villages such as Rahoud, Semaria, Pamgarh, Sasha, and Shivrinarayan. This hands-on educational tour enabled students to gather and analyze data on various aspects of construction projects, including material variations, cost assessments, contract pricing, and labor management.

The primary objective of this field visit was to provide students with direct exposure to contract adjustments and accounting provisions in real-life scenarios. By visiting under-construction buildings and business premises, the students developed a deeper understanding of the practical arrangements in accounting work. Participants in this enriching experience included students Akhil Singh Netam, Aman Kumar, Armaan Sinha, Falguni Devi Nayak, and others. This initiative underscores the college's commitment to fostering innovative educational practices and bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.
