About The Event

Chaitanya Science and Arts College celebrated its 21st Foundation Day on August 1, 2022, marking over two decades of academic excellence and cultural enrichment since its establishment on August 1, 2001. This milestone event, aligned with the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, was graced by the presence of distinguished guests, including Prof. Lalit Prakash Pateria, Vice-Chancellor of Shaheed Nand Kumar Patel University, Raigarh, and members of the Ramakrishna Mission.

The highlight of the celebration was the unveiling of a statue of Swami Vivekananda, a revered figure whose teachings inspire youth and uphold Indian cultural values. The event commenced with a traditional lamp lighting ceremony in front of the idol of Ma Saraswati, followed by the unveiling of the statue amid applause and reverence. Eminent speakers, including Swami Sewavrat and educationist Vivek Joglekar, emphasized the significance of following Swami Vivekananda’s path of spirituality, morality, and patriotism.

The program also featured cultural performances, speeches, and the recognition of students who excelled in various disciplines. The celebration served as a platform to reflect on the college's journey, celebrate its achievements, and inspire students to uphold the values of dedication, cultural pride, and academic excellence. The event concluded with the presentation of mementoes to the guests, reinforcing the college’s commitment to honoring its heritage and fostering future growth.
